Fairytale Of New York parts 1 and 2

I recorded these lessons a couple of years ago now, back when I was still learning how to put videos together.

Since then I feel my lessons have gotten a lot better, a lot more to the point, and the quality is higher.

If you like lessons like this, please consider supporting me on Patreon, because there’s nothing I’d love more than to do this all the time.

There’s only 1 decent Christmas song, and it’s glorious. Fairytale Of New York is simply the greatest Christmas Song, and if you can get a friend to sing it with you, you will both make the party.

Following the lesson, jam along with us playing Molly Malone at the pub.

Next week I go over the solos.

Jam 16 – Dirty Old Town by The Pogues

Skip ahead to 04:23 to get straight to the lesson.

Dirty Old Town, a song that is incredibly fun to play as a group. Try it! It’s incredible, especially if everyone knows the words, and somebody can play the solo’s, which are quite simple.

So I go over the strumming pattern, I talk a little about the 3 changes in key, and I step you through the solo.
